At AltarSeed, we believe our offerings can become markers of passage - gentle reminders of where we have been, where we are, and who we are becoming.

Through handcrafted wreaths, seasonal gatherings, creative workshops, and nature-inspired offerings, AltarSeed creates space for people to slow down, reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world, and honor the thresholds that shape a life.

Many of our materials are grown, gathered, dried, or foraged by hand. Each offering is created with attention to seasonality, beauty, and the quiet wisdom found in nature's cycles of emergence, growth, release, and renewal.

Whether you join us for a workshop, discover a wreath that speaks to you, participate in a community gathering, or simply pause to explore, our hope is that you find inspiration to notice what is unfolding in your own life.

Create with the Seasons

At AltarSeed, our workshops follow the rhythm of the natural world rather than a fixed calendar.

Each gathering is built around materials that are naturally available during the season - fresh vines, dried flowers, seed pods, grasses, branches, herbs, and other botanical elements gathered or grown with care. Because nature is always changing, no two workshops are exactly alike.

Rather than choosing from a catalog of projects, we invite you to create what the season is offering.

What to Expect

Each workshop focuses on one handcrafted project designed for that particular season.

While everyone creates the same style of project, you will have the opportunity to personalize your piece through color choices or natural material variations, making every creation uniquely your own.

All skill levels are welcome. Children must have hands-on adult help.

Seeds of Encouragement

One of the ways AltarSeed cultivates community is through our Seeds of Encouragement Collection. During each creative workshop, every participant will have the opportunity to create one additional piece that will be lovingly donated to someone experiencing illness, isolation, grief, or another life transition. Together, we're creating reminders that no one walks alone.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just beginning your plant journey, there's a place for you here. Every cutting, every plant, and every person adds something unique to our community.

Spend the evening swapping plants, sharing knowledge, meeting kindred spirits, and enjoying light refreshments in a welcoming space where everyone belongs.

Meet the Artist

I'm Kelly Jones (aka KJ), the creator behind AltarSeed.

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the ways nature mirrors our own lives. Seeds rest before they sprout. Trees release what no longer serves them. Gardens require both patience and trust. Again and again, the natural world reminds us that becoming is a process.

That understanding sits at the heart of my work.

Through wreaths, flower crowns, seasonal workshops, journals, creative kits, and community gatherings, I explore the beauty found in life's thresholds - the moments when something is ending, beginning, or quietly transforming beneath the surface.

Many of the materials used in my work are grown, gathered, or foraged from my yard or close to home, carrying with them the stories of changing seasons and the places from which they came. Each piece is created slowly and intentionally, with an appreciation for both the beauty of the finished work and the journey that shaped it.

AltarSeed is more than a creative studio. It is an invitation to pause, notice, create, and reconnect with the wisdom that has always been available to us through the natural world.
